How might we collectively envision a new narrative for education? On today's episode, we speak with Dr. Stephen Harris about creating a new learning paradigm. Stephen is Co-Founder and Director of Learning at Learnlife Barcelona, and a former award-winning principal in Sydney, Australia. Through Learnlife he now works to accelerate change in existing education models through personal purpose-based learning. He shares his reflections on principalship, creating a community of care, and finding ways to practically rethink the ways schools function for all learners. Stephen was the Principal of Northern Beaches Christian School (NBCS) from 1999 - 2017. Under his leadership, the school gained international recognition as an organisation. In 2005, Stephen founded the Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning. His vision was to embed innovation into everyday school practice and Stephen has received wide-spread recognition for his leadership as one of Australia's most innovative principals.
