SEASON 2, EPISODE 3: Meet the Parents: Abby and her Mum Karen

 In this episode Abby introduces us to her Mum Karen. They talk about their feelings at hearing the diagnosis and describe how Abby's symptoms had initially been attributed to anxiety and other conditions.  Karen describes her feelings of helplessness as a mum seeing her daughter being so unwell, and reflects on how she felt needed again as a parent.  Abby shares with us the importance of having her mum stay with her during her treatment on the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit, and how reassuring that was for her.
