Alexina Teubel talks about jumping in to a mile race at last weekend's Larry Wieczorek Invitational and setting a new facility record and why she didn't even have time for a victory lap. The former Mount Vernon/Lisbon prep star chats about her next possible facility record after now owning records at the UNI-Dome and Iowa's recreation center. Alexina looks back at each of the races where she set PRs, from the 800 all the way to 5 kilometers, during her brilliant 2021 season. She talks recruiting and how the process has changed since the start of the pandemic and losing a top runner to a rival school. Alexina discusses her typical workout schedule while balancing her coaching duties. She also gives details on some of the top Panther distance runners this track season and also her wedding to former Iowa All-American Will Teubel on November 27.
