In this episode we have a candid discussion with Benjamin Lungu who is one of the inspiring founders behind Stoma Care Zambia, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with stomas. A stoma is a surgically created opening on the abdomen that allows waste (stool or urine) to leave the body when the normal route is not possible due to illness, injury, or surgery. It can be lifesaving, but it also comes with challenges.Benjamin's vision has been to create a safe space where patients can find not only medical guidance but also emotional strength, community, and dignity in their journey.
