T ~~ Tasting notes on the Lagavulin 16 year old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Islay, Scotland ABV 43%. https://www.nicks.com.au/products/lagavulin-16-year-old-single-malt-scotch-whisky-700ml  Colour 🎨 :  burnished Nose 👃 :  sweet: stewed apples, sherry, dry spices; hints of peat Palate 👅 :  oily mouth feel; new wood spice, dry sherry, bitter orange, lightly sea-salted, slight iodine notes; smoked salmon Finish 🏁 :  hints spent matches, old wood; and waft of burnt rubber. ~~ My tips post Round 9 – 8/9 – pretty happy with the result but most were easy picks. Should have tipped the Cats given breakdown of the team lately. My tips for Round 10 – Demons (might be close), Swans, Dogs (can close and Dogs can be spooked at Ballarat), Cats, Lions, Bombers(rogue), Hawks, Magpies, Saints. Should be some good games this week!
