Season 3: Ep. 68 Conflict in the Community ends the life of Ajike Owens | When Will Guns Stop Being the Only Way to Deal with Conflict?

On June 2, 2023 at 9pm, the mother of four children, Ajike Owens approached the apartment of a neighbor Susan Lorincz. Earlier in the day, her children was playing outside by a patch of field near Susan's apartment. It is a well known community shared space that Susan doesn't own. The children had a negative interaction with Susan resulting them in running back home in haste leaving an iPad. Ajike was informed by one of her son's of what occured, another conflict with Susan and as she approached the apartment to discuss the matter with Susan, Ajike was striked one time by a gun shot that ended her life.
