In this week's episode, our quote of the week is from Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert comic strip, on why we need to stop electing lawyers to political office. In the stupidest thing I've heard all week segment, we'll tell you about the parents of a teenage boy who sued their school board because their son & his girlfriend had sex in their son's car in the school parking lot. In our "Your tax dollars at work" segment, we'll tell you how much the State of New York spent to develop, deploy & support a phone app that allowed people to download a digital copy of their Covid vaccination records to their phones. We'll tell you about two new documentary TV series highlighting the work of the US Customs & Border Patrol agents who are finding & seizing massive quantities of illegal & deadly drugs attempting to find their way into the United States. We'll point out how the media has decided to start calling every shooting incident where two or more people have been shot in a public place a "Mass shooting," even when the incident was no such thing. We'll share with you another example of the epic failure of socialism and tell you what happened to the output of Venezuela's largest steel mill after the government nationalized it and started running it as a government-owned & operated factory. We'll tell you about the newest ingredient some Mexican beer manufacturers have begun adding. Hint: You may have seen some of that new ingredient hopping around on the floor of your garage. We'll give you another example of the old saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions," and explain why politicians in California have made it more complex and more expensive for homeowners to buy homeowners' insurance when what they thought they were doing was going to make it cheaper. Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from Long Beach, California, where a good neighbor with a gun shot and killed a person who had dragged his female neighbor out of her car and was beating her with a stick.
