Lance was at the Iowa Wolves indoor marathon, held on conjunction with the IMT Des Moines Marathon and DMOS on March 22 to interview all four runners - Jan Atchison, Dennis Haney, Bruck Huckfeldt and Kiersten Hathaway. All four finished their marathons and offer their feelings on the experience - both highs and lows. Then, listen to an interview with Dordt University seniors Joe Anderson and Trey Engen. They helped the Defenders win the men's NAIA cross country title in November - the school's first team title in any sport. The former Central Lyon-GLR and Algona High runners talk about their memorable first meeting, the championship culture in Sioux Center and Joe's marriage last summer and hobby away from running. After Joe has to leave, Trey chats about the road to becoming a lawyer and challenging for an NAIA outdoor title in May.
