Eleonora takes a break between classes to talk about her journey to Iowa and Fort Dodge for two years and if she likes her current home in Canyon, Texas, better than Fort Dodge. The reigning NCAA Division II steeplechase champion chats about what she thinks about late in races. Eleonora, a native of Turin, Italy, describes why she doesn't join her family in downhill skiing, a popular activity in her home city. She talks about her favorite stadium she had competed in and remembers her memorable races at Division II outdoors last year and cross country nationals four months ago. Eleonora tells of dating a fellow runner for the past four years and why her small apartment is a hub of activity most nights. She also gives insight into her chances of winning a repeat national title in May.
