Season 3 - Episode 15 - Finding Gratitude through Journaling and Prayer

from A Cup of Gratitude · host Amanda Schaefer

This week I speak with Allison Hodges. She says that she has been a Jesus-loving, prayer-warrior, hot-mess-express, WIP ever since she met Jesus. Shortly after college, she married Adam. They have been married 22 years now, and have been in counseling the whole time! They have 3 children. Allison’s greatest longing in life is that her kids would know Jesus and walk with Him. She is passionate about God's Word, and truly believes in the power of prayer - Her “hell no" is spoken out against the twisted distortions women believe about their beauty, worth, and purpose. Her “heaven yes" is the truth, hope, and freedom she finds every day in Christ! Allison writes about all these things (plus marriage, parenting, food, faith, and home) on her blog. She says that she is a struggling [redeemed], broken [beautiful], recovering extrovert [gimmeallthealonetime] and has spent the last 8 years in eating disorder recovery [better late than never].
