In this week's episode, our quote of the week is by President Harry S. Truman on how he felt about politicians getting rich while in office.  In our first related story, we'll tell you how gold bars given to a current US Senator as a bribe were traced back to the businessman who gave them to him.  In our second related story, we'll play a clip from Congressman James Comer detailing what they discovered when they were finally able to subpoena bank records from Hunter Biden's shell companies and which politician received regular payments from one of those companies.  In the stupidest thing I've heard all week, we have three contenders:  Biden claimed that corporations should be able to start reducing consumer prices because the rate of inflation for just the most recent month has slowed to 3%  President Biden repeatedly & incorrectly claiming that he had "Cut the National Debt in half" when what he actually cut in half was the annual BUDGET DEFICIT. The new Mayor of Chicago blames the City's mounting problems on "Right-wing Republicans" when there hasn't been a Republican Mayor of Chicago in over 90 years.  You pick the winner.  We'll tell you which US Senator blocked an attempt by one of his fellow Senators to subpoena the flight logs & passenger manifests for Jeffery Epstein's private jet and ask "What possible reason could he have for doing that?"  We'll tell you how Climate change and this year's much-touted "Summer of drought" impacted the US corn crop. A story you definitely didn't hear about on the evening news.  We'll tell you how many Ford dealerships are opting out of the Company's "EV Dealer & service center" program and why.  In another study you didn't hear about on the evening news, we'll give you the data from a study that showed that during the pandemic that people who wore masks "Always or almost always" came down with Covid infections at a rate that was nearly double the group the wore masks "Never or almost never".  Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from Memphis where a customer in a Dollar General store shoots & kills one of three armed thugs robbing the store.
