After grinding through midterms, we're back in a big way featuring a fantastic guest, as William and Maddy interview Chris Shewfelt, VP of Business Development for the Toronto Argonauts/Toronto FC and a SPMA Course Instructor! To start the show, Chris talks about his start as a SPMA course instructor this year and his overall philosophy when it comes to teaching and dealing with each student in his class. He sheds some light about how he was able to navigate his teams at TFC and the Argos through the pandemic, and what strategies he used to keep the team functioning at high performance. Chris also engages in a great discussion about leadership. He chats about what makes great leaders and the characteristics surrounding those who are successful in roles both inside and outside a work environment. Additionally, Chris talks about the importance of personal branding, and the importance of creating one that serves as a positive reflection.
