Season 3, Episode 6: A conversation with former Iowa Central Community College legend Adva Cohen

The Olympian from Israel and former NJCAA athlete of the year in cross country and track tells of her funny story of coming to Fort Dodge and Iowa and not being prepared for what she would find. Adva, a new member of the Under Armour Mission Run Dark Sky Distance team in Flagstaff, Arizona, talks about her late start in running and why, in part, she became a professional runner at age 26. Adva shares one big reason she is good at the steeplechase and why she hasn't raced since August. The native of Jerusalem talks about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in her home region. The three-time first-team All-American for New Mexico tells of her favorite place she has visited, her experiences of running in the Olympics and if she expects to have tough competition in the Israeli trials for the Paris Olympics next year.
