Season 3 Episode 6 Izabela Gardula, Attitude is half the battle!

Izabela Gardula is a 3 year Breast Cancer survivor, a self described Type A Leo, and and outdoor adventurer!! Izabela is a whirlwind, full of energy.  She describes how “Attitude is half the battle” and how her perspective of life definitely changed after Breast Cancer.  She didn’t sweat the small stuff as much, but she still can’t seem to like yoga!!  Izabela describes cancer like a tornado and is now dedicated to helping others in the midst of a cancer journey.  She volunteers her time at Living Beyond Breast Cancer and helping others understand their medical bills and rights (great book called Cancer Law).Izabela describes the importance of support despite her initial reluctance and her love of the great outdoors and challenging herself physically with hiking at national parks and her peloton bike.
