Season 3 - Episode 7 - Finding Gratitude in the Healing Journey

from A Cup of Gratitude · host Amanda Schaefer

This week I speak with Karalyn Schmidt. She is a full-time Fitness Program Manager and Personal Trainer and Outside of her full-time job She is involved at a local high school where She serves as the Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach. Karalyn also coaches individuals who are training for various running races. Running is her favorite activity and She is currently training to run her dream race, The Boston Marathon. Karalyn has a heart of service and remains thankful for all the areas in life that God has her where She can reach others to encourage, motivate, and empower them. Her life sounds so healthy and focused, right? And it is, but Karalyn has been through a long and difficult recovery from Anorexia which began in her younger years. You will agree after hearing her story that Her faith and courage are unmatched. In our interview, She recounts her struggles and victories. Her resolve to take these experiences and use them to help others is amazing! Her greatest hope is that her life story is a light of hope for others and a testament to who God is and what He's done in her life!https://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/https://www.facebook.com/karalyn.schmidt https://instagram.com/kj_schmidt20?utm_medium=copy_link*Theme Music “Blessed Time” by Ketsa
