Let me know--thanks!Season 3, Lesson 1: Two heads...The goal of this lesson is to help you learn the proverb "Two heads are better than one." [Meaning: It’s easier for two people working together to solve a problem than for one person working alone.]Part One:  Listening practice. 100 repetitions, some slow, some normal speed. Just listen—and don’t hesitate to listen to the 100 reps several times. Get the sounds in your head.Part Two:  Backward buildup. This is a technique to help you memorize text. I’ll start with the last word. You’ll listen and then repeat. Then I’ll add the next-to-last word and you’ll repeat both words, and so on. It looks like this:One.Than one.Better than one.Are better than one.Heads are better than one.Two heads are better than one.Part Three:  Listen and repeat the proverb. I’ll record the proverb at normal speed with 25 repetitions. Listen and repeat.Part Four:  When you’re confident, say “Two heads are better than one” to a native speaker and see if he/she understands you. If it’s great, congratulations! If not, practice some more. Remember (another proverb) Rome wasn’t built in a day. And learning a language takes time. You can also record it and send it to me on Tandem at barry8660314. I'll let you know if your pronunciation is good or needs more work. Please record in a quiet place so I can hear your voice clearly.Intro & Outro Music: La Pompe Du Trompe by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com Support the showEmail me:  [email protected] can now support my podcasts and classes:Keep the podcasts coming!
