Thank you so much for listening to season 2 of Monki Moto Pod! It was more than I could hope for and it persists into year 3! When I was a kid, I idolized Smokey the Bear. A large brown bear with a marketing purpose. The United States Parks service used the image of the brown bear to educate the public on wildfire prevention. Each 4th of July, I'd see Smokey (probably a dude in a suit) walking and waving to kids, accompanied by two wheeled machines, fire engines, and police vehicles. I came from a very small town, so this was exciting to me at the time.Now I find myself at a point in my life where I can walk in my own parade and I choose yet again to continue documenting stories as told by the moto community.
