Remarks by President Biden on Uvalde, Texas, an AnalysisWelcome to season two of ‘A New Voice of Freedom.’  The Podcasts are based on the four volumes ‘In Defense of Christianity’ written by Ronald Keith Messer. This is from a series entitled Political Speeches. Podcast 101B is entitled “Remarks by President Biden on the Tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, an Analysis.”President Biden has once again shown that those burning with a cause become completely insensitive to genuine feelings. Language can lie about everything but the truth. Mr. Biden’s tirade on the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, is not a compassionate speech. It is a buffalo stampede on the true feelings of the wounded. The speech is mercifully only 845 words long. There is only one sentence which is eleven words long that shows a hint of genuine compassion for the families.  It is this, “May God bless the loss of innocent life on this sad day.” His speech would have been wonderful if he had said those eleven words and then sat down in reverent silence. The rest of the speech is insensitive, even hurtful, and here are three reasons why.1.     He takes the Lord’s name in vain seven times, using the phrase “In God’s name” in a vulgar way four times and the phrase, “for God’s sake” in a vulgar way three times.  The Lord’s name should not be an expletive. Then, after crudely addressing God, he calls on that same divinity in prayer,  “May God bless the loss,” “May the Lord be near the brokenhearted,” and “God love you.”   Does he the President of the United States of America, whose party wants to remove “In God we Trust” from all government related things not know the difference between taking the Lord’s name in vain and calling upon God for divine help. 2.     His insensitivity to those who experienced the tragedy (the children, the schoolteachers and others connected, and especially to close family, friends, and community) is disgraceful. Out of the 845 words, he used 200 words to pour salt into the wounds. The language is deplorable given the context that the primary audience is those who are devastated with grief and did not need to be told how they should feel. Not one of those 200 words were necessary and every one was hurtful. I quote directly from the speech.Another massacre.  Uvalde, Texas.  An elementary school.  Beautiful, innocent second, third, fourth graders.  And how many scores of little children who witnessed what happened see their friends die as if they’re on a battlefield, for God’s sake.  They’ll live with it the rest of their lives.Notice that his audience is not the people of Uvalde, Texas. He speaks in third person, “They’ll live with it the rest of their lives.” Mr. Biden is speaking to those who will help him push through his gun control agenda. The tragedy is a hook to hang his agenda on.  He continues.There are parents who will never see their child again, never have them jump in bed and cuddle with them.  Parents who will never be the same.To lose a child is like having a piece of your soul ripped away.  There’s a hollowness in your chest, and you feel like you’re being sucked into it and never going to be able to get out.  It’s suffocating.  And it’s never quite the same.Mr. Biden is drumming up sympathy for his cause. He certainly isn’t speaking words of comfort to the true victims.
