Season 3 Podcast 12 Patriotism

PatriotismWe wish you a happy new year and hope this new year brings you joy and happiness, and in your prayers, please include America. You know, the Holy Bible loves to talk about the promised land for the Jews, and I am happy for them. The Jews gave us the Bible. The Jews gave us Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible is true. It is the word of God, and it is the guide for liberty. The Holy Bible is the foundation of freedom in America. Patriotism does not begin on the battlefield. Patriotism begins in the home. Patriotism does not reside in Washington. Patriotism resides in the heart. A patriot is not one who shouts slogans. A parrot can do that. A patriot is not one who holds high office.  A clown can do that. A patriot is one who has integrity, who is honest, who serves others invisibly, whose word is as strong as his signature. A patriot is not one who runs for office, but one who stands for truth. We will not be free until we restore integrity to this nation. A lie is a lie is a lie regardless of its source or its intent, and those who use lies to manipulate our votes and pervert our emotions are traitors to freedom and their treason should be unmasked.  Those who use lies to promote good intentions are self-deceived. A false heart will clothe lies in colorful robes of grandiose words to hide the ugliness of their hideous intent.   The promised land is where the heart is. For me, America is the only promised land that I know and the only promised land that I desire. People came to America seeking religious freedom, freedom from oppression, freedom from totalitarianism. For those of you who live anywhere in America, God Bless you for keeping the Ten Commandments or the Law of Liberty. I am a child of the south and will always be a child of the south, but for all of us, regardless of your politics, your religion, or your philosophy, I say this coming new year, God bless you for your patriotism and your goodness and God bless America. Together and only together can we save this nation from those who would like to destroy it.
