Season 3 Podcast 200 The Inflation Reduction Act for Dummies Pt III, Zeno's Paradox

“Zeno’s Paradox.” Okay, assuming you have listened to Podcast 197, “How Taxpayers view The Inflation Reduction Act” in which I explained what inflation reduction means to an average person on a fixed income; and also assuming that you have listened to Podcast 199 “The Land of Laputa” in which I showed how our present-day Executive Branch and Legislative Branch modeled their behavior after the Laputians, a successful kingdom which existed 300 years ago.  In this podcast I shall further justify the peculiar actions of our Executive Branch and our Legislative Branch by showing how they have built our economy on Zeno’s Paradox, a Greek philosopher who lived about 500 B.C. My purpose is to, if not justify our dictators, at least to explain their behavior so that the critics of Congress will have a better understanding of their mysteries and perhaps show some compassion. The Blue states do not need this for they do not require explanations or logic. They only look at the results of things. Also they look to CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC and the other major news networks and newspapers who kindly keep silent on major news stories that might upset people, who always take the highroad and remain on the primrose path, and who perfume the airways to camouflage any open cesspool of foul smelling putrescence. Their job is to assuage the public, convincing them that all is well even when it isn’t, and to protect the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch from criticism. They know that variety and truth are annoying inconveniences for liberals and thinking is too difficult. They give peace of mind, for example, by proving that all violent demonstrations, regardless of how many are murdered, are actually peaceful expressions of patriotic terrorists who have been wronged by white supremacists. They soothe the unsettled hearts of a credulous audience who, as long as they get what they want, they don’t really care what our leaders do. I am writing this for the Red states that tend to cling to ancient traditions and listen to Fox News who keep them in an uproar by confusing appearances with facts.  In other words, the purpose of this podcast is to help those of you who may be angry at what you perceive as the false promises of the Inflation Reduction Act to understand how Congress thinks. For example, you might think that spending $369 billion in taxes on bribes and climate change and $124 billion more hiring additional IRS agents may actually increase inflation. You may think that you have been lied to. You may be further inflamed by the fact that experts have proven that the Inflation Reduction Act doesn’t reduce inflation, that it probably increases inflation.  After all it is because of uncontrolled spending that we have a 30 trillion-dollar debt, a bankrupt nation, and the promise that in the near future we won’t be able to afford gas, food, clothing, or shelter.  But even in the face of certain economic catastrophe, I wish to disambiguate you on the diabolical appearance of things. I wish to explain why on our planet we are in a recession, but on the moon where members of Congress live, we are not. Why on our planet inflation increases when Congress spends obscene amounts of money on cooling the planet that has been heating up for 4.5 billion years; but on the moon the more you spend the less you have inflation. It is just a matter of perspective. You see, as explained in the previous podcast, the moon is higher than our planet; therefore, they see things more clearly.
