 Decline of Democracy Pt 1 The First Ten of Twenty Signs that Democracy in America is DyingWe are getting a disturbing taste of open disregard for law among our leaders in America today.  In the decline of democracy, two things become transparent: (1) Leaders, who supposedly represent the people, begin to consider themselves above the law.  (2) Laws become unequal, favoring one group over another. In this and the following podcast we are going to list 20 signs that indicate that democracy is dying in America. The following list covers the first ten signs. One can measure our nation by how far advanced we are to the left of the values that once made us great: 1.        Decline of Morals.The Ten Commandments, called by James, The Law of Liberty, are the foundation of liberty in America. The further we move away from the Ten Commandments, the closer to a totalitarian state we become. Only by strict obedience to the Ten Commandments can this nation remain free. The New World Order disregards the Christian values based on the Bible and replaces them with an ethical system that eases the conscience of a nation in moral decline.  Absolute values are disregarded. The views of the left, voiced by leading Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton declared that “Deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed,”which restricts religious freedom in America.  If the majority of Americans become wicked or immoral, liberty will be the first casualty. 2.        Breakdown of sexual barriers and the traditional family.The Fifth Commandment states, “Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” The Seventh Commandment states, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” The Fifth Commandment, which strengthens the family, is a commandment with a promise. The Seventh Commandment establishes sexual mores that protect our children, establish sexual boundaries, and establish a firm foundation upon which the family can be built. Strict adherence to those two commandments alone would protect us from so many ills that plague us as a nation today.Today the American family is under attack.  It is being redefined.  It is no longer exclusive to a union between a man and a woman. Children no longer have the guarantee of both a mother and a father as role models.  Marriage is mocked.  Children are having children. Many couples move in together unmarried for financial, social, and sexual convenience. Fewer children are born.  Some couples prefer to raise dogs rather than children.  Marriage is becoming obsolete.  Open sex, even among teens is encouraged.  Sex enhancing drugs, devices, and other stimulants, once discretely discussed with doctors, are now advertised to children of all ages in public media.  Chastity is mocked.  Pornography is shown in schools teaching sex education. Virginity is laughed at.  Pre-marital sex is encouraged, and sex among children and teens is considered an acceptable social recreation.  Marriage is postponed, and a new term has entered into the growing lexicon of our Brave New World: “friends with benefits.” No free society can endure where the nuclear family breaks down and sexual morality is disregarded.
