Season 4 Ep. #1 - Mike Stax - Ugly Things Magazine

What a great episode to kick off Season 4! Mike Stax has been at it with Ugly Things Magazine for over thirty years! Covering bands and artists that didn't receive the attention, or acknowledgment that they deserved so long ago, as well as shedding light on legends such as the Craig Smith story here recently. Born and raised in England, Stax moved to So-Cal in the early 80s to pursue music and what he would come to find out a few years down the line was starting a rock and roll magazine was also in his future! It was great meeting and speaking to the legend behind UTM and getting to know him as he too feels he was born to late. Stax is wonderful at bridging the gap between past/present and bringing these stories to light. He's definitely inspired what I do here with the podcast and my online publication! Enjoy!
