Born and raised in Franklin, TN, the Orrall brothers grew up in the south just like any other kid in the 90's. The family would eventually relocate to Nashville for their father's work in the music industry and it would be a matter of time time that Jake and his brother Jamin started their own scene. Jeff The Brotherhood formed in 2001 as a powerhouse duo of psychedelia and punk. Launching their own label, Infinity Cat Recordings to house their prolific output of muisc, the band quickly became one of the most important groups in the last 20 years in the DYI scene. Influencing so many artists around the world, JTB are legends and have left an important mark on independent music. In this episode of the podcast we explore Jake's youth growing up with his brother in the south, his musical influences, relocating to Nashville and forming JTB, moving to New Orleans, a new JEFF record and much more!
