Hello and welcome to the Powered By Rock podcast where I am going to be speaking with Dave Cavallo of the Texas-based pop-punk band Dropped Out today. Dropped Out released one of the most incredible punk albums that I had heard in a very long time last year with their album Get Lost! which is what I consider to be the epitome of pop-punk at its finest. The band has been putting out music for almost a decade at this point, and if you haven’t heard of them, well, it’s a good thing you are here now, because you are going to be happy that you get to check them out. I believe Get Lost! was one of only two perfect 5-star ratings that I gave out in our album reviews last year with The Black Keys’ Dropout Boogie being the only other one. That’s pretty high praise considering last year was stacked with great releases.
