Dr. Willsey leads the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Clinic—one of the first in the nation—and in May 2025, his team completed the first in-human recording with a wireless brain-computer interface. He trained at MIT, Baylor College of Medicine, and Stanford, and is pioneering technology that could restore speech and movement to people living with paralysis.🏥 Andrew M. Nguyen, MD – Neurointensivist & Neurologist, Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Neurology, Division of Neurocritical Care, University of Michigan Health. Dr. Nguyen works in the Neurocritical Care Unit, caring for patients in the most critical moments after brain injury. His research focuses on blood-based biomarkers that could help predict outcomes and guide treatment.
