Season 4, Episode 99: Interview with Elena Juliano (Olivia) from “Popeye the Slayer Man” (2025)

Synopsis: A curious group of friends sneak into an abandoned spinach canning factory to investigate the legend of the "Sailor Man," who is said to haunt the factory and local docks.After watching the trailer, I can honestly say that Popeye looks appropriately terrifying! His sailor's uniform is blood-spattered as he smokes his pipe, and he looks equally frightening from a distance as he watches one of the friends who are in the factory. It was great sitting down with Elena and getting the inside scoop about this movie! And if you’re like me who grew up watching the Popeye cartoons, you should be fascinated, too. Elena gave some great insight about the film in regard to the location, the use of practical special effects and make-up, and the dynamic of the actors on set. I for one, am looking forward to seeing this movie. Grab a can of spinach, because it’s sailing into theaters and will be available for streaming March 21st.
