Season 5, Episode 23 - Economist Thomas Sowell, how Laken Riley's killer traveled, Dr. Phil interviewing a DHS official, Electronic Detection Dogs, President Biden pardoning Hunter, and much more!

In this week's podcast, our quote of the week is from economist Thomas Sowell on why lowering academic and behavioral standards for students from poor homes in the name of compassion contributes to keeping them poor.   We'll tell you how the immigrant from Venezuela who killed the Laken Riley, the Georgia nursing student, was able to get a plane ticket to travel from New York City to Georgia with no money and no official government ID.   In a related story, we'll play a clip of Dr. Phil interviewing a former DHS official who confirms that Venezuela is emptying its prisons and sending its released convicts to the US.   We'll tell you how police dogs are being trained to detect and locate tiny electronic devices, such as SD memory cards, that are no bigger than your fingernails.   We'll play a clip of President Biden repeatedly stating that he wouldn't pardon his son Hunter and then explain why he changed his mind.   If you are familiar with the German word Schadenfreude, we'll tell you why one of Vice President Kamala Harris's last official duties is a perfect example of its meaning.   Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from Rancho Cordova, California, where a grandfather shoots and kills an intruder in the middle of the night after his 14-year-old grandson alerts him to the break-in.
