Season 5, Episode 38: Interview with Carmela McNeal (Vanessa) from “Halloween” (2018) and “Halloween Kills” (2021)

For all that know me, the Halloween Franchise is my favorite, and Michael Myers is someone who I have come to love over the past two decades or so. Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills gives us what I can only describe as the ultimate Michael Myers experience and both films deliver an emotional punch that too many of the films in this franchise have lacked. With that being said, please give a very warm welcome to Carmela McNeal.I sat down with South Philly’s own Carmela McNeal and we both talked about her role in both Halloween movies. And from what she had to say is pure gold and priceless insight about her character and the both films. Such a wonderful and gifted actress; I wish that she could have continued in Halloween Ends, but it is what it is. She still made her mark as Vanessa and she is a part of a magnificent franchise.
