Season 5, Episode 39: Interview with Diane Ayala Goldner (Jane Salvador) from Rob Zombie’s “Halloween II” (2009)

Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 is an earnest picture; It brought depth to the mythos, and truly did nothing to trample on John Carpenter’s original version. There’s more character development which presents the opportunity to believe in the characters we care for. To bring more insight to the films, I had the honor and pleasure of speaking with Diane and what she shared is absolute priceless knowledge. The fact that she has been acting for a very long time, and being the daughter in law of Clu Gulager, makes her even more legendary. I love learning from the actors and actresses that I talk to; so much to hear about what happens on set and sharing the behind-the-scenes secrets. Me loving both films: The Feast Trilogy and Rob Zombie’s Halloween II – we can learn a lot about someone. Diane has been there; she has raised the bar. No one can play the Biker Queen like Diane and certainly there are only a few that can be at the same level as her.
