Season 5, Episode 5 - Reba McIntire, clear cutting rain forests, deaths from covid, an analogy of Donald Trump, Border Czar, wit & wisdom of Kamala Harris, short sleepers, and much more!

In this week's Podcast, our quote of the week is from singer Reba McIntire, who tells us what she thinks about people who believe they are saving the planet by driving electric vehicles.   In a related story, we'll tell you which country is clear-cutting CO2-absorbing rain forests to build 50 coal-fired smelting facilities to refine the ore needed to produce the nickel that goes into every EV battery.   In the stupidest thing I've heard all week segment, we'll play a clip of Vice President Harris repeatedly claiming that 220 million Americans (two-thirds of the US population) had died from Covid "in just the past few months." We'll share an analogy about a comparison between Donald Trump and a highly skilled heart surgeon who shared many of his character flaws and ask if those flaws would affect your decision on who you would choose to perform your open heart surgery.   In a compilation of clips, we'll highlight the hypocrisy of the media outlets that reported in April 2021 that Kamala Harris was our "Border Czar" and who are now claiming that she wasn't. Were they lying then, or are they lying now?   We'll also play a short collection of clips highlighting the wit & wisdom of Kamala Harris.   In our science segment, we'll tell you about people scientists refer to as "Short sleepers', people who function as well as (or better) on just 4-5 hours of sleep per night vs people who sleep eight or more hours every night.   Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from Michigan, where a man violates a restraining order and goes to the home of a woman armed with an ax and a gun to kill her.
