Season 5, Episode 51: Interview with Michele Dawson (Nurse Deb) from “Halloween Ends” (2022)

Halloween Ends, set four years after the events of the second film of the relaunched Halloween and its final chapter of Michael Meyers. But there is Nurse Deb, one of my favorite characters in the movie. Do not be fooled by her impertinence. She is already one step ahead of you.What an honor and absolute pleasure it was to speak to Michele about her role as Nurse Deb, such priceless insights! From what we spoke about, I can tell that she is very passionate about being an actress and what better way to end the franchise by being killed off by one of the most iconic slashers in horror history. With that being said, I have to know what actually happens to the franchise. In the film, Laurie says, "I've said goodbye to my boogeyman, but the truth is, evil doesn't die. It changes shape" – this acknowledges the end of Michael's physical presence but introduces the idea that evil can take on new forms and persist.
