Season 5 - Episode 8 - Finding Gratitude Learning God's Way

from A Cup of Gratitude · host Amanda Schaefer

I speak with Hannes Viljoen who believes: “Truth be told, We don’t get to choose what happens to us, but we get to choose how we respond.” His story is one of Grace, perseverance, stubbornness, and a great sense of humor. Hannes and his beautiful wife have 4 children and 3 of them have diverse special needs. He is a man of Faith who stands for the poor, vulnerable, and those with special needs, to heal and be restored. Hannes has a calling of reconciliation - His passion is to reconcile the hearts of man to the heart of God, the hearts of parents towards each other, and towards their children, to bring the family back into a strong community. Hannes coaches Families of Special needs children teaching them how to move from Surviving to Thriving. They have coached more than 400 families in Less than 5 years - In addition, they created a nationwide platform where like-minded parents can join forces and stand together.  We talk about his childhood on forward to his current ministry and how we can clearly see the hand of God working in his life!
