In today's podcast episode, I discuss my struggle with feeling inadequate and judged by others. I often seek approval and validation from those around me when expressing my ideas, and I fear coming across as foolish or unintelligent. This feeling of being an imposter is familiar among those who write, record or express themselves in vulnerable ways. As a child, I was acutely aware of when someone was condescending towards me, which made me feel ashamed and inferior. Even though I enjoyed watching cartoons, I often felt like they talked down to their audience. However, there was one show that stood out to me - Gargoyles.
