Season 6 - Episode 12 - Finding Gratitude in The NICU and Beyond

from A Cup of Gratitude · host Amanda Schaefer

This week I speak with Sarah Ward, who is a mother of twins and a singleton who all experienced time in the NICU before coming home to thrive. She received a B.S. in public health and behavior from the University of Georgia and a degree in dental hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia. She enjoys all things music, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Sarah is the author of “Our NICU Journey” and “One Step Behind” with a third title being released soon. As an advocate for families of premature birth and early literacy, Sarah hopes to support families on their own NICU journey and encourage reading to children with their Reading Through the NICU program. We look at her childhood up to the present to see the amazing thread of Jesus in her life! You won’t want to miss this incredible episode. You can find more information about this program and her books on her website, www.littlewardbooks.com, or find her on social media by searching for Reading Through the NICU.Link to the new book: One Step Behind: A Sibling Storyhttps://a.co/d/ipVIGPrWebsite: www.LittleWardBooks.comInstagram: @Sarah_Immonen_Ward_AuthorFacebook: @LittleWardBooksLinkedIn: @ReadingThroughtheNICU*Theme Music “Blessed Time” by Ketsa
