Season 6 - Episode 21 - Finding Gratitude in Connection

This week  I speak with Laurie Cunningham.  Laurie is a true Gulf Coast girl. She was born in Mobile, Alabama & raised in Gulfport, MS.. She is most herself & happiest on summer days spent with family & friends. Laurie values the life lessons she has learned through friendship, hospitality, faith & family ties. Laurie attended the University of New Orleans where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Communications. Her career path has included television production, corporate sales & music education. Currently, she operates a gift boutique where she enjoys getting to know her customers & sharing with them her appreciation for handcrafted and vintage items. Laurie values the connection(s) she makes between people, places, and objects and discovering the common thread that exists between them. Laurie is married to her husband, Bob, of 25 years. They have two daughters and have lived in many locations throughout the US. She currently resides near Raleigh, NC but is often traveling to return to her southern roots. Laurie’s interests include traveling, biking, reading, music, and celebrating life! We met as co-authors of the book “Life  Changing Stories” and I can’t wait to share her story with you!
