Season 6, Episode 21 - Thomas Sowell, Starbucks and civil rights, AI models to preserve themselves, Secretary Marco Rubio, Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, Medicaid expenses, and much more!

Our quote of the week this week is from our old friend Thomas Sowell on the reaction of people who had been receiving and then lost preferential treatment In our stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, we’ll play a clip from a striking Starbucks employee who claims that Starbucks is threatening all their civil rights. In our most outrageous thing I’ve heard all week, we’ll tell you how many taxpayer dollars the Biden Administration Department of Energy pushed out the door in the 76 days between the day Kamala Harris lost the election and the date of Trump’s inauguration. In a scary story, we’ll tell you about the lengths a new AI model went to to try and preserve its existence when it believed it might be shut down and erased. We’ll play a clip of Secretary Marco Rubio defending the decision by the State Department to revoke some student Visas and deport specific individuals. We’ll play a clip of Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk defending Israel’s reaction to the attacks of October 6th and their efforts to eliminate Hamas. We’ll tell you about a scheme that virtually all states have been using to get the Federal Government to reimburse them for more than 100% of their actual Medicaid expenses. Our taxpayer relief shot segment this week comes to us from Bellevue, Nebraska, where a teenage thug armed with a gun decides to return to a home he had successfully robbed a few days before for a second bite of the apple.
