This young and very talented actor delivered his role as Ant and it’s an exceptional performance. Anyone who is nominated for Young British/Irish Performer of the Year for a role that has no dialogue deserves it! Dan Hough is very talented in my opinion. We spoke about how he prepared for a role that relied heavily on non-verbal communication and how he had to practice conveying his emotions, what it was like to work on set with James McAvoy and developing the on-screen dynamic with the other actors. Dan has also revealed that there is a documentary on YouTube where he revisits the set after two years and surreal because that was essentially his home for the entire duration of filming.
