Welcome back, horror fans! In this interview, we took a trip deep into the heart of Romania. My guest is the incredible breakout star of the new indie horror hit, Transylvania Tapes. She plays Mara Enescu—a young woman who returns to her homeland to uncover the dark truth behind her mother’s disappearance, only to find herself trapped in a living nightmare. I absolutely loved this film due to its location, and I am huge sucker for anything Romania and Dracula (no pun intended). Even though Valeria delivers her role in a flawless way, I am I was more worried about her character and what she might discover. I felt the emotional connection that she had with her mother throughout the entire film and what her journey meant to her. Overall, Transylvania Tapes is a unique blend of found footage and classic Eurohorror. The film captures a distinct, eerie vibe because it was shot entirely on location in Romania.
