Season 6, Episode 5: Interview with Dina Najjar (Laila) from “Axes and Os” (2024)

Slashers and woods – go together like peanut butter and jelly… This movie is a classic slasher setup with a twist that gives the Axeman lore some extra texture. The film is non-stop and it never slows down, it gives the blending of humor, gore, and heart providing the right ingredients for a solid slasher flick. While Axes and Os pay tribute to classic slashers, it flips the formula with a creature-feature twist that sets it apart from typical holiday horror fare. Slashers, gore, blood, women dying, oh my! What a wonderful interview with Dina! Sit down with Dina and I as she spoke about her role in the film and how her character fits into the “Galentine’s” getaway which goes horribly sideways. However, with the twist at the end, it makes the movie splatter worthy and it’s a definite must watch. What makes this movie stand apart from all of the other slasher movies?
