Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a brilliantly executed film that dares to re-imagine the life of one of America's most iconic presidents through a supernatural lens. It succeeds with a story that is both audacious and surprisingly compelling, making it far more entertaining than I ever anticipated. It stands arguably the best period vampire film of its kind we're ever likely to get. In a genre where genuinely, fun films can be a rarity, this one is an absolute must-watch.Come vamp out with Alex and I as we speak about her role in the box office hit about vampires and the Civil War! We both strike a vein as we speak about how she approached her role within a larger narrative, memorable moments on set, costume & production design, how Abraham Lincoln would have been an excellent vampire slayer, and how this movie has a huge fanbase and cult following. I believe that the writers and the director took a creative risk by making this film and intertwining it with the Civil War and vampires – and the risk was worth it.
