This week, our quote of the week is from an editorial written in response to NYC Mayoral candidate Zohran Mandami’s claim that he would like to see a world without billionaires. In our stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, we once again have multiple contenders. The first is a new law just enacted in the UK, limiting your ability to get a free refill on certain types of soft drinks. The second is the Mayor of Seattle explaining why career criminals in his city shouldn’t be in jail. Last week, we told you about a mass shooting that took place in Eagle Pass, Texas, that got no national news coverage. This week, we have another event that took place in Montgomery, Alabama, this weekend, which the press has ignored, and we will explain why. We’ll tell you about an oil refinery fire that happened this past weekend and how it will likely impact the price of gas for the residents of the state where that fire took place.
