In this week's podcast, in our stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson runs down a list of things the Democrats are demanding be put back into next year’s budget as a condition of them agreeing to end the shutdown. Last week, we told you about the GoFundMe site creating 1.4 million new funding pages in a matter of a few weeks and why the named beneficiaries of those sites aren’t happy about them. We’ll read you a scary prediction about climate change and then tell you why you probably shouldn’t worry too much about it. We’ll tell you about a California Ballot measure to increase taxes on Billionaires that, if passed, could very well accomplish the exact opposite of what its supporters hope it will do.
