Season 9 Episode 4 Elijah & Celeste, Legacy of Love

Husband and wife, Elijah and Celeste discuss his battle with cancer since 2005. In 2021, he received a heartbreaking Stage IV diagnosis. Throughout their family’s cancer journey, they have been inspired by nurses, doctors, philanthropists, family members, and friends who have been so generous with their time and talents. Elijah is still here because of his undying optimism and strength, scientific advancements, and the love of his family and friends. Each year, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) launches its “Visionaries of the Year” fundraising campaign, and this year Celeste is honored to be nominated as a candidate. She is asking for your support of LLS’s mission in its efforts to find cures for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle this disease. Celeste has chosen the pillar of research as the foundation of their campaign because Elijah’s care team is at a research hospital, the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.
