Especially when he learns the books are sought by scheming magicians from another kingdom, who want to use the books for nefarious purposes.On the journey, he is separated from his escorts, is nearly knocked from his horse, and wakes on the porch of an old abandoned house. When he takes shelter inside, he finds the house holds a secret, and is much larger inside than outside. His love for books could result in him being trapped inside the house forever.
