Season Finale: Reefer Madness with The Cinemaniacs

Well, we did it, we remembered to end the season. HA! Listen, it's not easy doing podcasts with pottyheads, but we made it through. This episode is about the classic (interpretive) piece of propogandic film Reefer Madness. Made in the 1930's as a warning to America's youth at the *supposed* dangers of marijuana. It has it all...as Stefon would say-intrigue, abuse, murder, self-un-aliving, and just a slew of fake scenarios that the men of the mid-30's were trying to "Tell the Children" to be aware of. Coming out of the "Roaring 20's", America was having a shifting moment into absolute zzzzzzzzz snoozefest.Listen to us talk about the film and analyze the message and perception.
