Secret Crafting Societies, HoneyComb Binging & Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Musical with Comedian Amy Sloan

Comedian, writer and producer of Hootin' Hollerin' Comedy Night, Amy Sloan stops by 4680Q to chat with the witty, yet totally ADHD host of 4680Q's Off Topic with Brandy Ford. Amy's quick thinking and bubbly personality perfectly matches Brandy's rapidly changing train of thoughts and the ladies discuss the perils of having too many good ideas, what classic movies should be made into musicals and how people need to create opportunities, believe in possibilities and "just 'Field of Dreams' that shit!" And they even have a pretty damn insightful conversation about the world of stand-up comedy: how it feels to "get a laugh", the differences between performing on stage and producing a show, and why the heck do audiences think it's acceptable to interrupt a comedian in the middle of a live performance? Really though! What kind of jerk does that? Plus, what's an episode of Off Topic with Brandy Ford without some sort of quirky game? Amy becomes the first guest to spin the Wheel of Wit to determine which game she'll play and it landed upon the steamy new "HOT MINUTE WITH BRANDY" segment. Laughs, reflection and even a bit of bonding over the idiocy of brothers, Amy & Brandy's episode definitely went Off Topic! ~~~~~ Amy is also one of the featured "sunshine people" in the premiere issue of The Writer and The Wit Magazine launching in December 2023.
