Secret Santa: An Office Gift Exchange Reopens a Deadly Rejected Romance

An office Secret Santa exchange gives Floyd Bennett another reason to think about Carol Tatum—and a rejected romance he has not put behind him. What should be a harmless workplace tradition becomes charged with resentment, expectation and a gift whose meaning is anything but simple. Charles Campbell’s “Secret Santa” turns the familiar rituals of an office Christmas into a psychological horror story about obsession and the danger of treating another person’s choice as unfinished business.
