Secrets, Sacrifices, and Surprises on The Traitors Ireland | Belfast News

In The Traitors Ireland, contestants are plunged into a two-week digital blackout—no phones, no internet, nothing—to keep secrets locked tight, even if you’re eliminated early. Denis, a writer and psychotherapist, was murdered in episode six—but he and his real-life husband Diego had to pretend they’d never met, crafting fake backstories and hiding their marriage under the guise of a “digital detox.” Gráinne, a horse riding instructor, faked a film set job to keep her phone off, bound by a non-disclosure agreement. Her exit? A brutal Achilles rupture during a challenge that forced emergency surgery—and she’s still rehabbing months later. Behind the scenes, the production is a beast: massive, secretive, and exhausting, with Denis, a self-proclaimed fanboy, praising the crew’s precision under pressure. It’s a game where love, lies, and luck collide—with some players literally limping out. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
