He grew up in communist Romania, where he had to line up for hours every day just to get bread and basic necessities for his family. Believing that life had more to offer, he dreamed of escaping to the free world. His dream came true at the age of nineteen, when he immigrated to Canada with his family. With $50 in his pockets and unable to speak English, he worked hard to integrate into a new culture. He was challenged by people who inspired him to seek opportunities beyond his current abilities in order to create a better financial future. This eventually led him into the world of sales and starting his own business. Two years later, he launched into the business world and learned that overcoming adversity is an important key to success. Gigi firmly believes that there are decisions that radically change the course of your life; what one believes in, the person you marry, the job you take, the career you choose, the city or country you live in… After getting married and with his wife’s encouragement and support, the family business grew and took the Moldovans to many countries. He now lives in British Columbia with his wife of 28 years and their 2 children.
