Secured Presents: West to East with Dan Rothrock

Welcome to Secured Presents: West to East, a 45+ episode series filmed live at ISC West where we bring the biggest voices in security into real, unfiltered conversations. In this episode, we’re joined by Dan Rothrock, SVP of Global Business Development at Zenitel. In this episode, we dive into: • The role of communication in security systems • Moving beyond detection into interaction • How audio supports real-time response • And where communication gaps still exist This conversation reframes security as something that doesn’t just observe, but actively engages. This series is about more than trends. It’s about capturing an industry in motion. Let us know in the comments: Are we overlooking communication as a critical layer of security?
